I am just loving all of the LO's I've been seeing around the sites for this project.
Soooooo many fantastic kits have been created and lots of freebie templates to use.
I have decided I am going to do mine on a weekly basis and do a LO a week for the 52 weeks in the year. I think I can handle it better that way than doing a LO a day.

Here is my first week and of course I'm late for my second, but it will get done..YES it will....lol

Well, it's the very first day of the new year 2009. We all need to remember to not put 2008 on any documents for the first few weeks .....lol. I always manage to screw up a check or two. It was a very quiet day for me. I spent the day resting at home, since the holidays usually takes a toll on me. I am thinking of getting on the train with the 365 Day Project for scrappers which is being sponsored by a few blogs and sites. It is definitely a great way to be able to scrap at least one picture a day. I will be back to post some links to some special kits that are being created just for this project. Here is a LO I just finished using the new Guild Kit for the month of January at DSAG which comes out tomorrow along with "The Notebook".

Another year has come and almost gone. Is it really any different from year to year ? I suppose we all need an end so we can begin again. Every year I am always asked the same thing, "what are your resolutions for this year". I use to give it lots of thought, but I don't any more. Every year someone wants to lose weight, someone wants to be more efficient, exercise more, take more "me" time, learn something new, make more time for family, stop smoking, stop drinking, and on and on. The thing is that whatever it is we want to do different, we can do it any time we want to and the right time is always when WE are ready, be it today, tomorrow a month or year from now. That is why I would like to wish everyone a fantastic and Blessed New Year may God guide your spirits and take you to where you need to be. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful stories and creations with me and I hope that we will continue to do so this coming year. I am soooo looking forward to it. Scrapping is on hold 'til all the holiday madness is behind us.....(((((((hugs to all))))))))

Hi, I am sitting here at my desk drinking my tea and getting ready for Santa. Yes, he will be coming tonight to fill all the little childrens hearts with joy. I am very grateful that I am able to contribute to some of the little ones wishes this year. I am thinking of all those families who are not able to do that this year,my heart aches for them. There will be many little hearts and big ones too hoping and praying for such things as food, shelter, a home and especially for Daddies and Mommies to be home for Christmas. Let us all be thankful and pray for all of us that we may see all of the wonderful blessings we do have and pray for all of those who are less fortunate than we are. I truly believe with all of my being that God is ever present in our lives and it is us that turn away and sometimes lose him. Enjoy your time with your family and friends. Have a joyful Christmas and take a little time to be thankful. We all are truly Blessed. OK, I'm off the podium ..lol. Take lots of pictures, I can't wait to see them all....special ((((((hugs))))) to all of you. !!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!

OMG, where does the time fly ???? I can't believe Christmas is almost here. I still have some shopping left to do and I can't even go there right now...yikes. !!!!. Today My DH and I went over to TRY and get something done but it was impossible. I must be getting really old because I just couldn't take the huge crowds, so, I guess I will have to get up early tomorrow or the next day and head out and get it done. I however have been scrapping some LO's tonight. I kind of have some mojo left and I am taking advantage of it before it goes into hiding. I've also been wondering if I will make any resolutions this year...since I never keep any..maybe not...lol.

Well, after a week sitting in my living room totally naked, my tree is finally decorated. My DH took down the boxes from the closet and I was at last able to put up all the ornaments and light up the tree. I admit, it gets more difficult as the years go by but after it's done, you feel so good. I still have some shopping to do and I'm hoping I get it done this week.

There are so many new digital kits out there for the holidays it's so hard not to buy them all. I'm lucky to be able to be on a few CT's and it's not hurting my budget. I just finished some new ones with Royanna Fritschmann's new Holiday kits and with Lily Designs "Snow Queen". Here are the LO's...I hope you like them. !!!!!

It's Just Not the Same

Geeezzz, I tried to go shopping today for some Christmas presents and WOW, I was so totally overwhelmed. It got me thinking about Christmas's past and I realized that so much has changed. I remember when I was a kid, I definitely looked forward to seeing what Santa had gotten me under the tree and was so happy for whatever it was. As I walked down the aisles of the store I couldn't help but stop and look at the frenzy of people buying toys for the kids (which probably they couldn't even afford). What happened to Family Gatherings and enjoying the day together, playing games and eating all those delicious meals.? We have soooooo commercialized this day that I actually thought "This is not fun for me". I am still struggling to put up the tree and the decorations outside but my energy has just died. I do hope that it will come back soon, otherwise it's gonna be a "gloomy" Christmas.

On Saturday we went to my sister's house to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday...yikes.!! We told her we were going to sing to my niece whose birthday was on the 5th of Dec. and my mom's was the first Monday. Between my sister and I we got her a laptop. She has been wanting one for the longest time, so we figured we would get it for her. It's going to be interesting to see how long it takes her to learn how to use it, since she can't even get her messages off her cell phone....lol. !!!!! I guess we will have to find the time to teach her little by little. Here are some photos and a few LO's..

It's Saturday and I have been in bed ALL day....lol. I totally wore myself out on Thanksgiving. When I woke up this morning I could not move. I have been working on some LO's for the new December Guild Kit over at DSAG. I just can't wait for all of you to get a look at it. It is full of elements and it is absolutely gorgeous. It's so well worth becoming a member of the Guild, since every single month these ladies are just amazing with their creativeness. There isn't a kit that I have not loved since I have been a member. Hop on over and take a look you will all just drop your jaws when you see the kit for this month. However, you will not see it 'til the 1rst of the month, this Monday. I've been working on some LO's , but, can't post them yet, so come on back on Monday and check them out.

OMG, I love Thanksgiving but I'm sure glad it's over. I feel like I got run over by a truck. It's alot of work but it's nice to see everyone enjoying themselves and loving your food. It's over now,'til next year, same time, same place. I sure hope you all had a wonderful day and are resting now getting ready for BLACK FRIDAY. If anyone is wondering if I'm going to get up at 4 in the morning to go shopping.,...don't bother, 'cause this little lady ain't going nowhere....lol. Hi everyone, I'll bet you are all getting ready for the feast tomorrow. I am busy chopping up my veggies and preparing some side dishes, so I won't be so rushed tomorrow. I will be spending it here at my home as we do every year. My sister will not be here for the first time in many years. She is traveling with her family and she will be missed. :(. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. I so enjoy making the dinner for my family and giving thanks for all of the blessings we have. I'll be back later, just taking a break from the preps.

You must all be wondering why I have been MIA for the past several months, well it has been a long one. Although I have been scrapping and posting at some of my CT sites I have not been blogging much. I do apologize for that to all of you who have been logging on to see if I am still around. There is really a few things I must let you all know and I am going to be very honest. Some of you know that I suffer from a disease called Sarcoidosis. It is an auto-immune disease. For most of those who suffer from it the disease should disappear all by itself. I have not been one of those lucky ones.
I will not bore you with all of the details but it is in the lungs and it is hard to breathe at times and that is why I am on oxygen some of the time. I have also suffered from clinical depression most of my life and with this double whammy, well, I must say life is a challenge. The last few months have been most difficult but I am beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I have a strong faith which keeps me going but even that sometimes is not enough. So, I hope you all keep coming back to see what I am up to and will be posting again. I am very grateful to all of you who have given me support and have been concerned for me....may God bless you in many ways. I have some new LO's and will be posting them.
To all of the designers that have generously had me on their CT's and I was not able to keep up with my responsabilities, I apologize and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to create with your wonderful designs. To those who have hung in there with me, I am forever in your debt, without you I do not know how or where I would be....God Bless You All...!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am so happy that so many of you were so kind to send me so many well wishes for my Birthday...wooohooooo. It was a wonderful day spent with my family at home. I received some very nice presents and had lots of laughs with my kids and grandkids. Just received today notification that Danielle Engebretson would like me to be part of her new CT called "The Janes". I have accepted and can't wait for you all to see the beautiful kits that she designs. The are very whimsical, colorful and fantastic for all those great photos you all have lying around. Hi everyone, yes it's been a while since I've posted and I know I always say I am going to do better...Oh I try. I've been having some problems physically and emotionally but I know things will eventually get better. I am having an endoscopy done next week so please say a little prayer for me, I will definitely appreciate it. Even though I don't write as much as I'd like, I do surf the sites and see all the great LO's you all create and all the new trendy styles that are popping up on the sites. There are some new awesome designers that I personally love . I just had the best time as a guest CT for Birgit Kerr over at Scrapbook Elements. Well, it's the first of the new year,2008. Where does the time go? It's been awhile since I've posted on my blog , I guess it's been all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I find that it is a very stressful time for me and I need to just step back and take it one day at a time. Don't get me wrong , I love the holidays, the food spending time with family but boy it take a lot out of you. So now , it's time to look forward into what the new year will bring us or should we say what we will contribute to it?. I do hope that this year will bring all of you health above all , lots of happiness and love. Let's see if I can bounce back and stay in the loop this year. It sure looks like there will be lots of hybrid projects related to the digiworld this year. I will try and add a little of me to that too. As far as resolutions go, do you all make any? I usually do, but most of the time I don't keep them....I know..it isn't easy. Well, it's bedtime for me, so I'm off to rest. See you all tomorrow. Sleep tight.

Took a Little Break.

Hey everyone, I'm back. I took a little a little break from the blog. It's been a little hectic for me from preparing Thanksgiving and all, I was really exhausted. Things went really well at my home on this special day. I must say it is my favorite holiday. I love Christmas, but being with family and being thankful together for so many blessings is just the best day I could have. This year I was very thankful for being able to get all the preps done and felling well enough to prepare the meal for everyone. I took pictures and will be posting them soon. I've been a little slow but I'm catching up.....I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was as good as mine. Did anyone get any great deals on Black Friday? I was too bushed to go out, it's not happening for me anymore..too many crazy folk out there ......lol.

Well I hope everyone is doing well. I have been doing pretty well. My DD's birthday was 2 Sundays ago and she my grandson and I went to see the WWE Smackdown Wrestling Survivor Series.....lol. Yeah, I know what you all must be thinking. I'm nuts, right. Well, my grandson loves to watch it on TV and I know it's not the greatest thing for him to be watching but he does know it's all a show. I must tell you that I love to watch it with him just because of the time we share. He's really gotten me into it and it's really special. Let's see if I can upload some pics so you can see.lol. Now, I need to go and do some scrapping. I have lots more where these came from. I just wanted to give you a little "look"

OMG, it really has been seven days since my last post. I have been a little busy with CT's and a little low on energy...lol. Hey everyone, did you all survive HALLOWEEN..???? BuWAaaaaaahhhhhh..lol. I was really disappointed , it seems we don't have any children around this area any more so we never get any kids for Halloween. I can remember when I use to go out with my kids , boy did we ever come back with all sorts of goodies. Now, I have to go and buy my own..lol. Last weekend I had the pleasure of actually meeting one of the wonderful scrapping friends I have made here on the net. Pat and her husband, she is known as loonyhiker for those who recognize her username went on a cruise and their ship stopped here. We met by the docks and went to have lunch together we took some photos which I will post soon. I had such a great time with them. They are returning in December how fun is that..!!!!!!. I know, I did it again. I haven't posted in 5 day...OMG, so sorry. I've been a little busy with all the ct's and getting new designers at Dragonflaire. We are also looking for some new CT members in case anyone is interested you can leave a comment and I will get back to you. Well, Dragonflairestudios has just signed up Cari Lopez who is joining the team as a designer. You will love her work, she does really awesome stuff..all of you ladies who are into heritage, she's got some wonderful kits you could use..check this out. Wow, I can't believe that September is almost gone. The stores are already full of Christmas stuff and Halloween or Thanksgiving haven't even gotten here yet. We have
all become so commercialized it's not even funny. I remember when I was a kit all of those special holidays were about all getting together as a family, we still do but

Actions are really big now in the digi world and at Dragonflairestudios they're got some great ones I've already tried out. Tracy King has a few actions there for personal and commercial use and Barb Speck who just joined the team has some great stuff ther also...I have personally tried out the one that creates beads with 4 digi papers you select. It's amazing..just select your papers and play the action and zap in a matter of seconds you've got a row of beads, IT's AWESOME...you've got to check it out.

Well, I can't believe how the time flies. Has it really been a week since I last posted ? Sorry guys, I'm going to try and keep up with my posts now as much as I can. It's just been a really tough week around here and I don't want to bore you with the details. hey all, have you missed me? I know I've slacked off these last few days but I've been having some problems here at home. It's nothing serious just "things" that try to get in the way of life sometimes. Needless to say that I have to create quite a few LO's for different designers and I'm not so sure I've taken on more than I can chew. I'm also doing some experimenting with trying to create my own stuff...lol One of these days I'll surprise you all. I don't have anything planned so I have no idea what I will be doing. My DD came home from work yesterday around 1 in the afternoon feeling very sick. Needless to say she was. She seemed to have caught a bug she even slept here last night. She's doing better today and went home with DH and GS. Hey, sorry I waited a few days to post but I've been getting ready for "Hurricane Dean". OMG, I live in the Caribbean and it is going to pass near us but not through us , thanks be to God. We will probably get alot of wind and rain but that could be enough to cause problems with electricity, and the flooding and , etc. We got hit really hard wit Hugo years ago and it wasn't pretty....NO WAY !!!!. Ok, so we left off when I was going to the Dr., right? So, I did and the news is good..the small mass was not malignant, it is a product of my condition. I am so glad , I feel so light as if I've lost 100 lbs. God definitely listens to prayers...don't you guys ever forget that.

OK, today I have a real great grab bag for you..This one is only 3.00 and it's loaded with lots of great things for you to create beautiful LO's. Well tomorrow is the day. I have my appointment with my Dr.and we will see what is going to be the next step in my recovery process. I know that some of you have been
supporting me throughout all of this and I want to express my gratitude for all of your prayers and well wishes. I have every faith in God that everything will work out for the best. I cannot say I am not afraid, because I am. I will keep you all posted.

Oh yes, it was my son's 32nd birthday this weekend. I can't beleive that all of that time has passed. I can still remember when he was little and boy what a little ball of fire he was...lol. Who am I kidding he's still like that. Anyway we all got together at home and had dinner and sang to him and cut him a cake. It seems that no matter how old they get they're still your little kids. School Starts Tomorrow

Hey everyone, hope you are all well. So, the day has come, more traffic in the streets but less crowds in the mall. Yay !!!. Yes, school begins tomorrow here. My poor grandson was not a happy camper today. I was busy making labels for him to put on all of his books and painting his lunch bag. It's never easy after a summer full of fun and leisure , but knowledge is of the essence. So, go to school study there is nothing better than challenging yourselves to be the best you can be.

On another note,now more moms will have more time to scrap..without the kiddies at home..here are some little finds for you today. Finally the Beach...

This was a really great weekend. I hadn't been to the beach in ages. It is something I use to love to do but since my diagnosis the heat isn't really good for me. I just felt I needed to go so I did. My DD and SIL and grandson along with my DH spend a few hours there. I took lots of photos and I'll be scrapping them in the next few days. I'll also be uploading some info I KNOW you will all be interested in so come back. I'm going to say a quick goodnight, get a goodnight's sleep and see all tomorrow...Boy, the beach gets you really tired....ciao !!

Well, I must say that my grandson's birthday was a success. His parents celebrated it at a place called Solid Rock. Here big and little childrens can enjoy themselves properly supervised climbing these man made rocks. It was a blast watching them enjoy themselves.
